Leaving Sydney

Sydney was great. It does remind you of London – it’s also a modern cosmopolitan city, full of historical connections to England, and people also drive on the wrong side of the road. 🙂

Anyway, had great fun. There are lots of things to do and see in Sydney. Its harbor, with the bridge and the Opera House, is easily one of the most iconic landmarks in the world. You can’t take two steps without noticing someone taking a picture.

Also visited Manly, Blue Mountains, and did a walkabout in the forest with an aboriginal guide. And I even got myself a job cleaning windows. 🙂

That was in Sky Tower, the highest point in Sydney. Opera house is (barely) visible between skyscrapers.

More pictures later…

Definitely a place I will try to visit in the future; I’d be too scared to take that picture up so high in the air.

    Nica!
